Accurate Bearing components

Our Infrastructure

Our advanced infrastructure is built on modern technology and Industry 4.0 integration, enabling high precision, efficiency, and scalability across operations. With a fully integrated manufacturing setup—including cold forging, machining, heat treatment, and finishing—we ensure complete control over quality and lead time. Backed by high production capacity and in-house capabilities, our facility is designed to deliver consistent performance for high-volume and critical applications.

Cold Forging

Cold forging is a high-precision manufacturing process where metal is shaped at room temperature using compressive forces. This method enhances material strength, dimensional accuracy, and surface finish without the need for additional machining. We specialize in advanced cold forging techniques to produce complex, high-strength components with consistent quality and minimal material wastage.

FAQs

Cold forging is a metal forming process performed at room temperature where steel is shaped using compressive force from dies. Unlike machining (which removes material), cold forging improves the grain structure of the steel, resulting in 20–30% higher tensile strength, better fatigue resistance, and a net-shape or near-net-shape part — reducing material waste and secondary machining requirements.

ABC can cold forge parts weighing between 70g and 1000g using its range of mechanical and hydraulic presses from 50 tonnes to 450 tonnes. This covers the majority of circular cold forged components used in automotive steering, suspension, and drivetrain systems.

Taper bushes (BB13 and BB15 variants) are used as pre-tensioners at the ends of post-tensioning cables in construction - for example, in bridges, parking structures, and pre-stressed concrete systems. They are inserted at the cable end and tightened to apply the required tension in the cable. Dimensional accuracy and strength are critical as the bushed carry very high tensile loads.

Yes. ABC is a circular cold forging specialist, with specific expertise in producing round, cup-shaped, and socket-profile components — including IBJ sockets, ball joint cups, bearing cups, and taper bushes — using closed-die cold forging processes.

Yes. ABC accepts customer drawings and specifications for cold forged components. The engineering team assesses forging feasibility, designs the tooling, and produces prototype and production samples before moving to volume production.
