Our Infrastructure
Our advanced infrastructure is built on modern technology and Industry 4.0 integration, enabling high precision, efficiency, and scalability across operations. With a fully integrated manufacturing setup—including cold forging, machining, heat treatment, and finishing—we ensure complete control over quality and lead time. Backed by high production capacity and in-house capabilities, our facility is designed to deliver consistent performance for high-volume and critical applications.
Phosphate Coating
Phosphate coating is a chemical surface treatment process used to enhance corrosion resistance, improve wear properties, and provide an ideal base for further coatings such as painting or lubrication. It forms a uniform crystalline layer on metal surfaces, improving durability and performance.
We implement controlled phosphating processes to ensure consistent coating quality, superior adhesion, and long-lasting protection for critical components.
- Enhanced corrosion resistance
- Improved surface adhesion for paints and lubricants
- Increased wear resistance and reduced friction
- Uniform and consistent coating thickness
- Cost-effective surface protection solution
FAQs
ABC offers manganese phosphating, zinc phosphating, and moly tumbling (MoS2) surface treatment services through its in-house 6-tank phosphate coating line in Doddaballapur, Bangalore — available for both in-house production and external client components.
Manganese phosphating produces a hard, dark grey coating with excellent wear resistance and oil retention — typically used on high-friction components like gears, camshafts, and fasteners. Zinc phosphating produces a lighter grey coating primarily used as a base for paint or powder coat adhesion, or for mild corrosion protection on automotive body and chassis components.
Phosphate coating before cold forging serves as a lubricant carrier. The porous phosphate layer retains zinc stearate or similar lubricants, dramatically reducing die friction during cold forging. This extends die life, reduces forming forces, and improves the surface quality of forged components.
Yes. ABC's phosphating facility accepts external components for batch phosphating — both manganese and zinc phosphate. Clients in and around Bangalore can ship components to ABC's Doddaballapur facility for surface treatment. Contact ops@accuratebearing.in for capacity and pricing.
